A pilgrimage of sorts to Mont St-Michel, courtesy of Tiff's mom who's in town from California and was gracious enough to drive us over for the weekend. My third trip to France and have had yet to visit its most famous castle (shame, shame). Not exactly peak season to view its usual expansive low-tide, but the snow did help keep the tourists away (except for the Japanese ones. Betcha a hail storm straight out of hell wouldn't keep them away!) Weirdly jarring to hear Japanese all the way here; maybe means that I haven't gotten Tokyo out of my system? Anyhoo. Slow week for me otherwise. What about you?
