Easter weekend

Been chaos around here as my German roommate Annika makes her way back to Berlin soon, albeit a month earlier than the rest of us because she has to start school. Her boyfriend, sister and the boyfriend of her sister (give you a minute to read that twice, slowly) have been bunked downstairs for the past few days to spend the last week with her, then taking her back, or rather, away, away from us :(

Anyhoo. Took a day trip to St-Malo yesterday, as the Monday after Easter is also considered a national holiday in France (and for no other reason other than it being the day AFTER Easter, a holiday for a religion in a country where less than 20% are practicing.. vive la France!) I'd been meaning to visit St-Malo for a while now, as it's considered, like, the #1 must-see town in Brittany. And I was not let down: beautiful, old ramparts, aquamarine plages, great galettes.
